Greetings!

Welcome to St. Timothy’s online. You’ve found a community where people expect to be changed for the better. We find strength in God’s invitation to each one of us to be blessed and to strive to bless others. That doesn’t mean we agree on everything or that we pretend to have all the answers. It simply means our lives are more full when we worship, learn, play and serve together. To find your own blessing come join us.

We invite you to learn more about us. Please browse our web site to learn who we are, what we do, and what we might have to offer you. Feel free to contact us by phone (760-242-2405) or email.

Upcoming Events and Services

Mavericks Game

St. Timothy’s Church and School night with the High Desert Mavericks will be on May 17, 2014, at 7 p.m. Come cheer Fr. Jeff on as he throws out the first pitch and enjoy the National Anthem sung by our organist, Mrs. Heidi Arthurton. Tickets will be on sale following each service at the Vestry table beginning April 13th and will cost $9 per person. This includes admission to the game, your choice of a regular popcorn OR a regular hot dog, AND $1.00 of each ticket will go to support our Seeds of Hope Food Ministry. There will be a fireworks show following the game. It will be a fun evening for everyone! For more information, contact Jeanne Bryson, 760-220-1317.

Lenten Program Palm Crosses

Our Lenten series continues when we meet Wednesday evening, April 9th. The evening will start with a potluck soup supper at 6pm. We will be making palm crosses for our Palm Sunday services. Compline will close our evening, finishing around 8:30 pm. All participants are encouraged to bring a pot of soup to share with bowls, spoons and placemats for their own use. All parishioners are invited and please bring your friends.

"Keep Awake and Pray..." Mark 14:38

This traditional devotional practice commemorates the disciples being asked to watch and pray with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. Members will spend time in quiet meditation and prayer in the church. We need at least two people for each two-hour shift between 9pm April 17th and Noon the 18th. If you would like to be a part of this poignant vigil, please sign up at the Vestry table.

The Great Sacrament of Holy Baptism

We look forward to our next celebrations of Baptism at our Pentecost services on Sunday, June 8th, 2014. If you are interested in preparing for this blessed sacrament of inclusion into the Body of Christ please contact Fr. Jeff after the service.
